Unexpected Death….
About a week after Anakin’s Birthday…
Outside of the Mandalorian Territory, near the outer rim of their clan, the Nambalashu’s armada soars outside of the solar system Gnyunnette. The mandalorians had reformed after almost a thousand years of being separated and spread thin across the galaxy to the near point of extinction. With Boba Fett’s rise as the top bounty hunter in the universe, the mandalorian’s sought to restore their war-nation. Still divided however, the many mandalorian tribes spread across the territory that Vader had provided for them. The mandalorians swore an oath of honor to the higher power of Vader, as they had seen Boba Fett do the same. Though most mandalorians express great emotion over battle and war, there are only 5% who choose to live the life a Mandalorian outside of the war-characteristics. Little does the farming sector of Gyunnette, of the Mandalore Nation, expect the arrival of the Nambalashu.
On the bridge of the Nambalashu command vessel…
Officer: Sir, we are currently passing what is known as the Mandalorian Nation. Another sector of The New Galactic Republic Empire, the file says that this sector is dominated by Mandalorians, supposedly fierce warriors.
Kabdul: Hmm….I remember the mandalorians from our home…..they claimed to be the fiercest and most powerful in the galaxy….they died in an instant…..Fagur Gnyunn, what is thy command?
Fagur Gnyunn: What is the name of the closest sector to us?
Officer: It is called Gnyunnette, there is no further information on it…
Fagur: WHAT?! They dare to name a system after me! By the gods!
Kabdul: Sir, this is the other universe, they do not know of our customs, so I think we should deliver a message to Vader and his forces
Fagur: Yes……that is exactly what I was thinking Kabdul…However I don’t want you to lead the forces….we’ll just send a small fleet to invade the territory, give them a taste of what our power is…send the Ballasyn Fleet under Admiral Digoth’s command to invade the Mandalorian Nation.
Kabdul: Yes my Fagur….::Kabdul leaves the bridge to inform Admiral Digoth of his next mission::
Meanwhile in orbit around planet Jedi, Anakin’s flagship Death Revenant is undergoing the first of it’s weapons tests…
Anakin: Activate the purple beam cannon thingy….
Cecilia: You mean the Pulse Reverse Array Cannon?
Anakin: Yeah…..
Flan: Amazing how the Captain has trouble with the names of the weapons….
Anakin: Well….er….give me a break will ya? No one’s perfect.
Flan: Right….Cannon is charged at 90%
Cecilia: Target is locked on
Officer: Power levels are stable
Engineer: Cooling system is running at 37%, cannon’s barely heating up
Anakin: Commence cannon test, fire!
The Death Revenant fires multiple purple lasers at what appears to be an asteroid that had gone stray from the nearby asteroid field outside of the system. The asteroid soon is pushed away and soon it falls apart, with no explosion or dust or much debris even falling off from it as the laser’s hit the asteroid.
Cecilia: The test was a success, target destroyed.
Anakin: Well done crew.
Flan: Now if only the captain could get the names right on the weapons.
Anakin: If I did that then what else would Cecilia do?
Flan: Uh she kind of targets the enemies and she’s also your first mate. I think just those two reasons are more than enough.
Anakin: Good point….ok crew, lets take a lunch break….
As they prepare to put the computers on automatic pilot and leave a skeleton crew as they go off to lunch, an alarm begins sounding and soon a hologram of Vader appears on the bridge
Vader: Master Anakin, the mandalorians have fallen under attack.
Anakin: Their farming region?
Vader: Affirmative. The Nambalashu left a small fleet to attack the Gnyunnette System, the Mandalorians have already sent their forces in to attack the intruders.
Anakin: Will there be anything left for us to attack?
Vader: Of the original fleet, not likely, of reinforcements, maybe.
Anakin: So we’re going in to give support and assist the mandalorians?
Vader: That is correct. I last read in the reports that your hyperdrive was malfunctioning and you will have to run at half-power, is that correct?
Anakin: That is correct, however we were able to repair it further to get it to run at 69% operation. Though the Mandalore territory is still a distance away so it will be abut an hour or two before we arrive, but I’m certain they will handle themselves well.
Vader: I’m still trying to figure out why they sent such a small fleet….
Anakin: They probably figure on being able to control the farm territory with little to no resistance and setting up a blockade before any of the Mandalore warships arrive.
Vader: That’s a strong possibility. Go with your ship and your fleet to the Mandalorian System and assist and defend their territory. My fleet will be there shortly after you arrive and report to aid.
Anakin: Roger, we will report once we have arrived within 100 parsecs of the Mandalorian Nation
Vader: Very good, May the force be with you
Anakin: May the force be with you….::the hologram soon disperses as they bow to each other::
Flan: So I’m guessing no lunch?
Anakin: Once we enter hyperspace, organize the fleet, we’re going to the mandalorian system.
Flan: Fleet 5691, all ships under Death Revenant’s command set hyperspace coordinates for the Mandalorian Nation, to the Gnyunnette Sector. Perform weapons check, defend and assist the mandalorians in an enemy attack. Enter hyperspace upon Master Anakin’s command.
Cecilia: Weapons have been powered down and cleared for hyperspace.
Officer: Coordinates are locked on for the sector
Engineer: Hyperdrive functioning at 69%, recommend running at 60%
Anakin: Run at 65%, have the rest of the fleet run at 55%
Flan: Sir that will cause them to come in after we arrive by nearly 5 minutes
Anakin: Flan, we need to make sure the sector is clear, if it is still actively hostile we can catch the enemy with the element of surprise with the rest of the fleet.
Cecilia: I recommend 50% for the rest of the fleet then sir.
Anakin: Make it so.
Flan: Fleet, run hyperdrives at 50% functionality, arrive after we have arrived to surprise hostile targets if active.
Anakin: On my mark……mark.
